We felt very lucky to be able to share this piece of heaven in beautiful Franschhoek for a week, every day we looked forward to relaxing in the gardens, by the pool or on our rooftop after a trip out and about. Sandstone House is just perfectly located and Uber was a great way of being able to visit all the restaurants around and enjoy the great wine too. Everything was so close by, and there is so much to do around this area. We managed to get a few hikes in, lots of yummy food, wine tasting and even went one day for a lovely picnic!

The garden at Sandstone House is a smaller version of some of the best gardens around that we have visited e.g. those of Leeu Estate and Babylonstoren. The staff are so friendly and nothing is any trouble at all. Thank you Clive and Joanna it was a delight to meet you both, many thanks again, we hope to return.
